CCM singer/songwriter Becca Jackson was born and raised in Mississippi; after spending her childhood singing in local church choirs and musical revues, she relocated to Nashville to pursue a performing career, appearing in shows at the Opryland theme park as well as recording a series of demos and jingles as a session vocalist. After attracting interest from both secular and spiritual labels, Jackson made the decision to travel the Christian music path, signing with the Word label and releasing her debut LP It'll Sneak Up on You.
